Burner Day of Reflection – Tuesday 23rd March

Dust2Dust would like to invite Burners to an on-line Day of Reflection.

This is a chance to come together as a community to remember and honour those who’ve died during the pandemic, show our support for those who’ve been bereaved and acknowledge other losses and changes that may have affected us during the last year.

If you’ve loved and lost – if you want to pause and reflect – to honour and remember – or show your love and care for fellow Burners – then this space is for you.

6:15 – 8pm – a chance to ‘Bring Your Light’ to the virtual Temple ceremony – hosted by Rob Blakemore, Burning Man UK Regional Contact

We’ll gather online at dusk with whatever source of light you want to bring – your el wire, a candle, fairy lights, flashing hoop – so we can light up together as the sun goes down, as a symbol of hope and solidarity, of light shining through the darkness.

COMMUNITY CALL OUT –

Whatever you’d like to contribute to the event, we’d love to hear from you!

From poems, sharing your thoughts, sharing art, describing experiences, music, your stories, stories from others, stories of help you’ve given or received, descriptions of how you’ve been moved, to performances, or hooping or fire spinning…

Use the form to tell us more. The shorter contributions are likely to be placed between 18:00 – 19:45 pm (and any long contributions more likely to be placed 14:00 -16:00 pm GMT). Click here to sign up.
